RideDash is a cycling computer app by TomoLab. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.

Information used by RideDash

• Precise location is used while you ride to calculate speed, distance, elevation, record your route, provide route-following, and display maps where available.
• • Apple Health data: with your permission, RideDash and its Apple Watch companion use heart rate, workout, active energy, and cycling distance data to display and record your rides. You can choose whether a completed RideDash workout is saved to Apple Health.
• • Ride data includes timestamps, GPS track points, speed, distance, altitude, heart-rate samples, and optional cadence samples.
• • App preferences include selected units, recording mode, display settings, and Health sync preference.

Storage and sharing

RideDash does not require an account and does not operate a RideDash cloud service. Ride records, routes, and preferences are stored locally on your devices. RideDash does not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or use it for cross-app tracking.

When you use Apple Maps, destination search, or route planning in Global Map mode, the related requests are handled by Apple MapKit under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. When you choose to save a workout to Apple Health, Apple Health processes that workout under Apple’s privacy practices.

Your choices

You can manage Location and Health permissions in iOS Settings. You can choose not to sync workouts to Apple Health. You can delete individual rides in RideDash; deleting a ride removes its locally stored RideDash route files and summary. You can export a route GPX file only by initiating export yourself.
